Councilman Angle on Dallas P&Z just said:
City Councilman Angle
is saying the reports from Argyle of children suffering from problems with nausea, etc. are not true.(Dallas P&Z.)
He claims he got that from the principal.

Yea, that's why Argyle ISD is calling TCEQ and doing private environmental testing. It's because they think the parents 'are lying'.
Argyle ISD is playing smart now, putting all their ducks in a row, and ready to protect our children, unlike Dallas P and Z.
Proof is there, everywhere, in 34 states, water is contaminated, air is contaminated and chemicals are in peoples blood, organ, tissues.
Why doesn't the idiot, who apparently is getting paid by A GAS COMPANY, get off his ass and do his own research, like we all have. Then, he will know the truth.
Have him call Liberty School in Flower Mound and they can fill them in about everybody there who has cancer.
I'll let him look at my air report. That's right, over a mile from the nearest drill site.
Oh, and my water supply report, and then we can all have a hay day.
And say a LIE, like; Gas Drilling is safe. Whatever. Keep hitting the crack pipe.

Sounds like Angle and the XTO rep have something in common. XTO man said their will not be any condensate tankes. Look on page 11
from XTO's request: http://www.dallascityhall.com/meetings/plan_commission/4-Z090-211.doc.cpc2.pdf

BTW, I talked to the 'principal' today, and that is FAR from what we talked about.
DUH!

And he read those e-mails with gusto!! I think his name is Councilman Mike Anglin. I was surprised by his attitude. He acted like his was "teaching" the audience all about it. Right.
He read those e-mails as if to nullify everything else that was said in opposition. Incredible comments by the way. One of the commenters asked us to "stand" if we were "opposed" to the SUP for drilling the 23 wells at Hensley Field. The entire roomful of people stood up. Great moment after a very long afternoon and early evening.

He had emails from the principal saying that no kids were made sick and he read them aloud? That's bizarre. Someone is lying or talking out of both sides of their mouths.
Westchester Neighbor says
Not e-mails from the Principal. 🙂
Councilman Anglin said he had gotten many e-mails and held some of them up. He then read one about the children from Argyle who were sick from the odors coming from gas wells. He said he called the Principal of the "High School" and the Principal said none of that was true.
I think maybe he just called the wrong school and decided that's what he wanted to hear. If you know what I mean.
He came across as very condescending. If you know what I mean.
Westchester Neighbor says
Oh, sorry. I meant to call him Commissioner Anglin. He's a Dallas Planning Commissioner, not City Councilman. I think this is his first term.

Hmmmmm…..I was at the school board meeting this past monday. I seem to recall ALL of the principals were there and heard testimony of real illnesses first hand. I also spoke with a principal of AISD and was assured they are taking our concerns seriously. One even expressed personal concern over of their own exposure. I predict we will start seeing moore comments like this as people find themsleves needing to do damage control for the decisions they have made.

I do not believe this councilman. I don't think the principal told him there were no problems.

The facts are the Argyle city council has approved for 36 wells to go in very close to a school. Numberous citizen in the area have begun calling TCEQ for offensive odors with several reporting health effects from the first of those 36 wells.
It is logical that if adults in the community are affected than the kids are to. What was stated here was that the councilmen had proof from the principle that children were not suffereing from nausea. He did not mention asmetha, headaches, rashes and the list goes on and on of possible health effects.
I hope the children in Argyle do not suffer in anyway. Unfortunelty, in this case if all we have is hope then panic could be right around the corner. It is wise of the school district to monitor the situation, because the parents are. Argyle has seen an explosion of natural gas exploration in the past two years. Argyle citizens are not dummies they do the research and are willing to take action and stand up for what is right. It looks to me that the school district is doing the reasearch to.
Lets have Argyle school district and community along side the TCEQ, EPA and independant scientist assess the risks to our children not Mr. Anglin.

The parents are legally required for their children to go to school or the parent could go to jail. The school is required to provide a safe environment.
The Mayor, Councilmembers, and drilling companies should be investigated by Child Protective Services, if they approved drilling which brings emissions to any school.
Someone needs to be held accountable to protect these children. The parents have tried and can not stop the emissions or drilling.
Same goes for the Flower Mound situation.
This is disgusting!

Gas Drilling – It will be someone elses jurisdiction. That is what they all say.

It's now clear that Commissioner Anglin must have called XTO with his concerns and was then connected right away to a school principal in Argyle.
TXsharon says
How is that clear?

E-mails can be altered and changed so as to misrepresent what the sender meant to say!! Believe you me, this is important information. If e-mail info is introduced, you better raise an eyebrow in possible disbelief!!
