This (in the white truck in the video) is “Mr. Goodguy” whom, you might remember, operates the wells behind Runner Susan’s house. (Her blog is temporarily down but it will be back up soon.) Remember Shanty Town?
“Mr. Goodguy” told the Bartonville P&Z Committee last night that he only uses fresh water and sand–no chemicals what-so-ever–in the fracks. He even said no chemicals are used in fracks in the Barnett Shale. Then his pants burst into flames–in my mind.
Anyway, what’s going on in this video?

The workers aren't wearing masks or protective gear even though there are obvious emissions. It looks like it almost overcomes them a couple of times — they turn away, lean over, and appear to be coughing. The noise is horrible. What they're doing is unforgivable.

I think that may be a 'workover rig' to get the well ready to re frac. I'm pretty sure they are using chemicals, because I didn't feel too good driving by. No permit is needed in Bartonville to work over a well. To my knowledge.

It is a workover rig pulling tubing.Thats why the brakes are hot and smoking. There are 1000's of these rigs working everyday for the energy you and me use everyday.God bless you my brothers.

No, it's not actually the energy we use everyday because we now have 100 years of energy in surplus. So this is the energy that some one will use some time way in the future. We don't need this energy! We need clean air and water!

My friend died of cancer last night-she lived by Lake Arlingon. The compressor station near there tested 127 ppb for formaydehyde. They buried 8 year old Anna in Denton today. She died from a bone marrow cancer. Just north of her is the little Sanger girl fighting neuroplastoma-she was featured tonite on channell 11. Earlier there was a report on the alarming cases of respiratory ER events. ALL IN THE BARNETT Benzene SHALE! God "damn" you my brothers!
