Earthquakes rattle Arkansas town; residents blame gas drilling rigs
University of Memphis scientists studying temblor ‘swarm’
It’s kind of funny that there is a term for it, “induced earthquakes,” yet each time it happens, they pretend it is something brand new that has to be studied like scholarly articles covering the topic aren’t readily available.

Since when does causality have to be such a difficult concept to grasp?? Whether its cancer clusters, elevated methane levels, ground water contamination, and induced earthquakes these things don't happen until AFTER drilling commences. Seems pretty elementary to me and yet we can't prove these things incontrovertibly due mostly to how unregulated, secretive, and profitable this disgusting business is.

There are 5 injection wells that surround this area including one right near the actual epicenter.
Locals there are PISSED OFF as demonstrated at a recent town hall.
