What’s that jingle from Toyota? Oh yes: You ask for it, you got it. That applies to voters and particularly to non-voters who didn’t bother to turn up and vote.
GOP lawmakers say they want to upend a host of Environmental Protection Agency rules by whatever means possible, including the Congressional Review Act, a rarely used legislative tool that allows Congress to essentially veto recently completed agency regulations.
The corporate embedded GOP wants to shoot down the new EPA rules on ozone standards.
A spate of contentious EPA rules that are soon to be finalized could be prime targets, including the national air quality standard for ozone, toxic emission limits for industrial boilers and a pending decision about whether to regulate coal ash as hazardous waste.

Driving back and forth on the 287 there is a distinct line of clean air and dirty air. When coming South from Amarillo, there's a yellowish, brownish haze beginning in around Quanah. Symptoms begin around Vernon.

Of course the GOP is a1l against the EPA–where the EPA is our one and only salvation in Texas! Without the EPA we may as well RUN!
