The panel was mostly industry folks and after listening to about 45 minutes I have to advise against wading in without a pair of these.

"The fracturing fluid and propping agent, while primarily comprised of water and sand, respectively, also contain certain chemicals." Aw shucks I wish we knew which chemicals and fer certain how much. I suppose we could ask all these kind industry folk to divulge those trade secrets… you know while their on a panel and all.
Sorry couldn't survive more than that AWWWWFUL press release. If they really were interested in best practices they'd certainly ask more people than those that directly profit over hydraulic fracturing.
