I agree with McBlogger! This sexting bill is dumb.
Keeping up with a teenager is hard work but it’s the parent’s job to put controls on their child’s phone. It’s easy to set limits. I checked my son’s phone–I pay for the damn thing–and found text messages from Creepy Friend and his sister so I banned their numbers. I also limited his hours of usage so his phone cuts off at 9:00 PM and the only calls he can make or take are from his brother, me or 911.
Sheesh! People! Parent your own children. We have a lot more important problems to worry about right now.
Maybe take some of that money you would spend on the sexting and spend it on some compelling educational program.

Can I ask what provider you use that allows you that much leeway?

Hey! Just what the (R) want, a less intrusive government.
Some people will do or say anything to defect attention away from the glaring problems in Texas such as the budget, environment, education, or healthcare.
I imagine some of the sponsors of this bill have done little sexting of their own or maybe we will see a 1/2 naked picture of their married ass, or chest, on Craig's list next.

Yep, this is the government we are allowed to have, pointless nanny state government that can protect your kids from smoking fake pot and sending naked pictures to each other but can't protect them from the carcinogens floating around your town's air supply. Looks like BigSexting should have lobbied harder…
