Wyoming is beset by a big-city problem: Smog

Let’s see…does any of this sound familiar?
Wyoming, famous for its crisp mountain air and breathtaking, far-as-the-eye-can-see vistas, is looking a lot like smoggy Los Angeles these days because of a boom in natural gas drilling.
Folks who live near the gas fields in the western part of this outdoorsy state are complaining of watery eyes, shortness of breath and bloody noses because of ozone levels that have exceeded what people in L.A. and other major cities wheeze through on their worst pollution days.
The preponderance of the evidence has broken that so-called “clean energy” bridge.

That video is disgusting! How can anyone say drilling hasn't affected our air?

This is excellent news for our economy !!!
With increased respiratory disorders, more and more people will need medication and drugs and that means the pharmaceutical companies will show increases in revenues and profits.

Maybe they'll blame the Wyoming smog on cattle flatulence. Just like all those hundreds of rayon plants in Texas cause the carbon disulphide for the DISH area.

You know whats freaky? I think our terrible air extends past Waco maybe even to Temple. I swear to God driving to Austin, Fort Worth was the epicenter of smog but the air was bad most of the way to Austin. Unless Texas fakes their air quality tests I think we'll find the terrible air extends for hundreds of miles around the Barnett Shale. Also, are people in a coma?!?! When we have smog even in the winter you know the air is poison!
