in Barnett Shale residents.
The Aruba Petroleum business model calls for, among other abhorrent actions, performing workovers at their wellsites only on the weekends when regulators are either not available at all or not as readily available. This is another example of Aruba’s shoddy operations, cutting corners and operating outside the law. They are a threat to public health and safety.
Almost every weekend when the Ruggiero, Parr, Headen and other families are trying to enjoy their lives, Aruba pulls up with their workover rigs. They work on the wells on the Headen and Ruggiero property because Aruba has ongoing Bradenhead pressure issues at these two wells. Bradenhead pressure problems means the wells are leaking.
This weekend was no exception.
Within a few minutes of venting toxics into the air, one family member had a massive nosebleed. Other members broke out in rashes and they all got headaches.

When I see this disgusting release of toxic chemicals, I can't help but say:
Multiply that by 18 tanks
and 9 portable frac tanks
and 4 compressors, and welcome to Argyle/Bartonville.

I love a South Wind.
And that's exactly what Ross Perot Jr and Hillwood has decided to release every morning when we're taking the kids to school.
Let's serve up a little brain fry for breakfast.
I wonder if that's going to effect our TAKS testing results?
And to anybody and everybody who has to deal with the everyday, I'm sorry we/you have to deal with this.
If we work together for a common goal, we will succeed.

I would like my Senators and Congressmen to take a look at these photos and tell me they are perfectly okay with it. Better yet, I'd like the execs in charge of all this crap to look at these photos and tell me they see no problem. Aruba president Larry Poston told the Denton Record Chronicle that "We believe our emissions are at a level protective of human health." Aside from the fact that this is an illogical statement (are emissions 'protective'?) he must go to bed at night absolutely puzzled as to why I think this is a serious issue.
His day is coming.

Somehow when these emission events are allowed….the logical reflex I feel is to want to protect my family and would call that "self defense". The sad part is that if they don't vent.. then what is the other outcome? a kaboom? What a mess…you cannot undrill these damn wells.

You can plug them.

As someone who has been affected by cancer, I do NOT wish that upon you, even though Karma may disagree with me in the future.

I'm looking to buy a couple of acres with a house and water well within an hours drive to Ft. Worth in any direction. I've become concerned about the potential for water well contamination. Are there "absolutely stay away from areas" that represent higher risks as well as lower risks areas? If so, what are they?

No where within an hour is safe. If you go east of Dallas, that's fairly safe right now.
