Dallas should use Corinth and Flower Mound as models for setting up their gas drilling task forces not Bartonville or Fort Worth. Corinth and Flower Mound municipalities now have some of the most protective ordinances around (FM is still in the approval process). And they did it without stacking the boards with drillers.
Bartonville could have used its neighboring municipalities as examples but unfortunately they stacked their advisory board with people who profit LARGE from continued, unchecked drilling. The link provides all the gory, details straight from daytime TV, but let me just ask you this: does it make sense to forbid residents who are in litigation against drillers from participation then allow the drillers who are in litigation with those residents to participate? Yeah, that one made my logic meter bury up in the WTF column too.
It appears that Dallas is following in the footsteps of Bartonville. insert sad face here

Wow they cover up and and manipulate test results even when they aren't doing the dirty work of Oil and Gas. What a morally bankrupt commission.
