A hazmat crew from Denton was dispatched to Wise County where “several thousand barrels of crude oil spilled at an Enterprise Products gathering site.
“The spill is contained within the dike,” Dodd said. “Any hazard would be from the ignition of vapors. But the vapors coming off are not at level that is dangerous.”
The vapors probably aren’t dangerous if you are wearing hazmat gear.

SHARON – Please make them test for the gravity of the oil. If above 50 and it goes to condensate and much stringent rules. They may need to put in monitor wells. This is a serious spill. The spill was contained in dike? They should have to test the dike area. They should be fined if a history of violations is present or constant problems at this site, would you not agree?
