Good to know that Aubrey's looking to replace the billions he lost on his margin calls in '08 by lying to investors and the governments subsidizing the industry's operations. Tigers don't change their stripes; this is just another way for him and his cronies to get rich without putting any skin in the game.
Who is really paying the price? Taxpayers financing (literally, via MORE debt) the subsidies – while we slash our childrens' education budgets.
Those same taypayers whose property values are swirling in the toilet – I am one of them.
Those whose health is being endangered by industry activities and regulatory complicity.
Natural gas prices have dropped 50% since 2008. How much are you saving in gas and electric bills because of shale gas? Stop ethanol, wind and solar subsidies if you want to cut waste.
