It is only fitting that the biggest emitter of GHGs and the biggest denier of Global Warming experience the most Karma. But it’s not exactly fair to those of us who have tried so hard. It’s certainly not fair to the children and animals who will get caught up in this Karma.
Please note that this article is in the Houston Chronicle and is written by a scientist at Texas A&M. So, you really can’t use the liberal treehugger line to dismiss it.
Texas is vulnerable to warming climate

This is pretty scary. You should go read it. Then remember how you voted and think about how you will vote in this next election.
Texas GOP Fights Catastrophic Wildfires With Prayer and Global Warming Denial
Praying for rain will be little help while Texas politicians work to deny global warming and prevent the changes that might actually deal with their troubles.
About Sharon Wilson
Sharon Wilson is considered a leading citizen expert on the impacts of shale oil and gas extraction. She is the go-to person whether it’s top EPA officials from D.C., national and international news networks, or residents facing the shock of eminent domain and the devastating environmental effects of natural gas development in their backyards.

Find me a 'Denier of Global Warming'. Seriously. Or of climate change.
Those charges are made to defuse conversation about a scam to charge 'carbon credits' and have the IPCC rolling in a global tax on the use of fire.
Now that is ambition ! And it is fuelled by the allegation that it is scientifically proven one can predict the future. I wonder if 'Hogwash' is sufficiently expressive.
Meanwhile carbon monoxide is a toxic component of smog and ground level ozone is implicated in plant loss…as is the nitrogen cycle destabilized by 'agricultural' use of fertilizer…a petrochemical product.
Mountaintop strip mining and coal ash deposits ( see the Sourcewatch resource centre ) are but two of the coal use problems identified ( radiation being another ! ) as pressing problems in our world. Pollution is killing us.
Playing around with an outlook which has stalled decades ago is no motivator for change.
And yes…I have read of scientists who say that science is a political football.
Did you notice this lot ?

Any familiarity with David Suzuki at all should disprove the idea this is industry drivel.

Are you serious here: "Find me a 'Denier of Global Warming'. Seriously. Or of climate change.
An exclusive Wonk Room analysis by Brad Johnson finds that 22 of the 37 Republican candidates for governor this November deny the scientific consensus on global warming pollution. These science deniers are part of an anti-reality wave of Tea Party candidates, who comprise the Republican slate for the U.S. House and Senate. “The GOP is stampeding toward an absolutist rejection of climate science that appears unmatched among major political parties around the globe, even conservative ones,” writes National Journal‘s Ron Brownstein. "I’ve heard Al Gore talk about man-made global warming so much that I’m starting to think that his mouth is the leading source of all that supposedly deadly carbon dioxide. Virtually every day another scientist leaves the global warming bandwagon. But you won’t read about that in the press because they have already invested in one side of the story. I’m not saying we shouldn’t be good stewards of our environment. We should. I am just saying when politics hijack science, it quells true scientific debate and can have dire consequences for our future. .[Rick Perry, 9/7/07]"
There are lots more…

"As you sit by the pool and sweat this summer, one book you should be reading is The Impact of Global Warming on Texas (University of Texas Press, June 2011, second edition)"
Ah ha! That book is from Liberal Treehuggers at UT! 😉
If you believe that about these scientists, let me sell you some swamp land on Mars…
