While that might be popular in a few circles, it will be a turn off to others that Perry needs to become President. In some places in the US, that would be as bad as a hammer & sickle USSR flag on a license plate! South Carolina is still having Confederate flag fallout:

So, is it OK for Texas to forgo any future NCAA Tournaments just for a license plate? Yes, that could happen.

He could be a hero and put a moratorium on water until the drought is over. He could be a hero and require O and G to do it safely. He could be a hero and give to education, not take away from it.

Anybody who gets B’s in Phy Ed should be taken out in front of Forth Worth and humiliated while holding guns like it’s a TX show down. Oh wait, there’s a “C” in Phy Ed too. What a charmer.
He got a “D” in economics. No wonder he has no idea what the hell is going on with our state budget.
“D” in Shakespeare?!?
“A” in World Military Systems: that’s even more scary.

Well, that explains why he doesn’t know or understand that the United States of America ever United after the Civil War. Poor Guy, dumb as a stump.

Now, if a person falters early in College, then gets better, I can forgive that. That’s not the case here.
I wonder if the Chemistry grades of C, D, & F indicate why he isn’t taking pollution seriously? The Spring 1970 and Fall of 1971 Semester’s GPA’s of less than 2.0 could land one in trouble at some schools. And, too many D’s in core Major classes can get you kicked out of some school majors outright.
I know this is kind of brutal on Perry, but this guy is trying to become our President! It needs some scrutiny.
Republicans will say: some people don’t do well early in life then go on to do great things, like Rick Perry. These are voters who thought Bush might be their beer drinking buddy.
So.. Perry wants a Confederate License plate? I call BS. How about the Sons of Confederate Veterans want it. Oh.. and by the way, they are in favor of the proposed Buffalo Soldier license plate too.
Perry has little to do with it. Get a clue.
I do not understand how we even have time to worry about promoting the confederate flag when there are more important issues like creating jobs. Its not Rick Perry’s fault the issue came up – its the people who want the confederate flag recognized. How can those people push their issue in Perry’s face when there are more important matters like housing the homeless, medical programs for children, and creating jobs. I think that the Sons of the Confederate Veterans need to back down and let our government focus on main issues.

It has nothing to do with southern pride. I’m a 4th generation Texas and I know what the Confederate flag means. It’s just a bunch of racist, backward people.
