A reminder about the EOG Frack Sand mine in Cooke and Montague Counties.
Hey, a reminder . . .
The big Cooke/Montague County public hearing re EOG’s proposed (ie already started without a permit) fracking sand mine is Tuesday night 7pm, (8/23) Muenster TX at the School auditorium.
It will be local citizens fighting to protect the Trinity Aquifer, which provides the drinking water for thousands of North Texas families, vs. EOG (aka Enron Oil and Gas) and their lawyers and lobbyists.
The meeting is chaired by the TCEQ.
Will TCEQ yet again ignore the will of the people and rubberstamp another reckless fracking boondoggle?
Will State Senator Craig Estes and State Representative Rick Hardcastle actually represent their constituents or will they fall to their knees and polish the boots of Enron?Come to Muenster Tuesday evening and find out!

We spent the evening in the company of Joe Barton at the Town Hall for the 6th Congressional District. As we know, he has received more O&G money than any other congressman. And he never mentioned a thing about Energy. Hope all goes well in Muenster Tuesday night.
