There’s all kinds of assurances this pipeline will be the safest around. The said that about the Trans-Alaska (Alyeska) pipeline, that had 7 accidents in the first 2 months of operation, some of them very serious:

The NTSB found design flaw issues, built in from day one, on what was supposed to be a state of the art pipeline!
