I just want to give a quick shout-out to the FBI, Department of Homeland Security and some wacky Navy Intel deal that is trying to pretend it’s part of the government.
Kudos to you all for wanting to learn more about fracking.
The Navy deal really has me scratching my head.

There are more of those “cop” organizations out there than you can even imagine, especially on the fed level. Every branch of the military has at least one such cop org. Then there are various ‘contractors’ which work for one of the “cop” organizations. Information is being gathered and reported to 2 or 3 master computer systems in DC area–each of which is trying to be more competative that the others–they are better if they have more “dirt” to sell whether it is correct or not. Welcome to our new “SYSTEM”.
They’re probably job hunting for those lucrative post-federal retirement, private-market,double-dipping “security” positions.
Remember when General Eisenhower properly made us aware of the “military industrail complex”? Now we also have before us the “Government Security Complex”–a whole new entity to spy on us all. It’s gonna lead to less and less confidence, on the part of citizens, in their government at all levels. Now back to the MIC, keep in mind that the Feds have O&G companies as one of the key dominoes in that system–they provide the fuel. Also the Feds have the 3 bailed out auto makers as key dominoes–they build the engines, tanks, etc.
2 bailed out auto makers, Ford Motor Co received no federal bail out. In just about every blog post and every comment on this site there is some sort of inaccuracy. Whether it is ignorance or blatant disregard, or just believing the first thing you see or read, I don’t know. Now it seems as though that your “activism” is turning into “paranoia”.
BD, I do not have control of the comments but I have found that the people who comment on this blog are most often well informed.
Who are you calling paranoid? I’m certainly not concerned about the visits from DHS and FBI.
Please be specific when you talk about inaccuracies on this blog. If I find an inaccuracy, I will correct it.
Finally, if you are so irritated by us and find us so disdainful, why do you visit so often?

It’s easy to check IP addresses on the back end of a blog/website!
The only paranoia on this issue is with the Gas Industry; employing Homeland Security, having the FBI on their side.
We’re not paranoid, we’re trying to stop the insanity of the paranoid Gas Companies.
The Gas Companies are paranoid because we found out the truth, and they’re paranoid the rest of the country is going to find out.
The Gas Companies are paranoid because in 2012 the first part of the EPA study will be complete. In 2014, the second part of the EPA study will be complete.
The data is not looking really good for the Gas Companies, that’s what is driving their paranoia!
They are especially paranoid because they can’t keep the smart people quiet about the truth, and they know the truth, it’s scary and fracking crazy!
Don’t forget Virginia Cody’s experience: She was accidentally sent intell info that said anti-frack types were terrorists.
Doubtful any of those IP addresses are part of any government effort to see what’s being posted on this blog. If the Feds really wanted to watch this site, they can do it without leaving identifiable IP addresses. It’s probably just people who work for those agencies who are curious about what’s being posted here. Perhaps people who have gas wells right behind their houses and are p.o.’d about it.
That’s what I thought because often get those hits with absolutely no id’ing info. They are probably getting fracked too. Still a little creepy.
Atta way–BD ole buddy–you too are being tracked and monitored at every turn. One of those mega, giga, pixel computer is collecting your info also. You and I are being tracked with GPS on your car, it knows when you use your debit card, knows where your bank accounts are, etc, etc., etc. Also knows where you are from tracking on cell phones. Also gets info from your “smart meters”. Info is being fed to the compter from local officials and goons and informants. Just pointing up what is going on and how the Big Gas Mafia is aided and abetted by the “system” against us little peons! Good luck to us all.
