National Map of Fraccidents Link fixed.
The country is in the midst of an unprecedented gas drilling boom – brought on by a controversial technology called hydraulic fracturing or “fracking.” Along with this fracking-fueled gas rush have come troubling reports of poisoned drinking water, polluted air, mysterious animal deaths, industrial disasters and explosions. We call them “Fraccidents.”
The Earthjustice created map is incomplete but is being updated regularly.

Mitt Romney thinks that U.S. shale oil production could be multiplied by 10.
Mitt Romney wants the U.S. to be energy independent by 2020. Or U.S. oil production is on the rise entirely because of shale oil.
So, in 2020, U.S. shale oil production will have to be multiplied by arround 10.

You can move the map around. There is information for Texas but it is incomplete. If you have additions, send them to me and I will forward.
