Saturday April 6

Grace Lutheran Church
6202 E. Mockingbird

Description
Author and activist Riki Ott, PhD, shares her personal, first-hand experiences of the Exxon Valdez and BP disasters. She puts these disasters in the context of America’s energy future, the devastating costs of our fossil fuel dependency, and what ordinary people are doing to create more self-reliant and democratic communities. Ott engages the audience to imagine what it would take to transition off fossil fuels and confront the dangerous expansion of corporate power — and inspires people to take action. 14 years to adult.
