Last week I told you about some important dates in the Dallas fracking fight. I hope you put those on your calendar because it looks like industry has them on theirs.
Lookie here: Something has leaked and this time it’s a bunch of gas headed to Dallas City Hall.

So what ever happened to to the frackholes? Did they show up? How much were they getting paid?
TXsharon says
They did show up and they were not nice. But the CPC didn’t pay any attention to them.

I do not know how many pro-industry people showed up, but only about nine of them spoke. Two were from Trinity East, two were from Masterplan (Trinity East’s PR firm) and only one identified himself as having no ties to the industry at all. He was concerned that Dallas is about to leave a LOT of money on the table. I guess he did not get the memo that nobody has been getting royalty checks for the past three years due to the very low price of natural gas and the high cost of production.
The typical arguments from industry were the same weak, unsubstantiated claims they have always made, and they again offered not one shred of evidence to support their false claims of jobs, revenues and safety records.
Our side had about 40 speakers who were passionate and focused. It was a better day for us than for the gas industry.
