Sunday, December 15, 2013, Calvin Tillman and I stopped to record some video at the Burlington Resources Slidell Compressor Station. There was an intense odor and visible emissions venting from the vent pipes on the tanks. The handheld MiniRAE recorded 4.8 PPM.
I made an online complaint to TCEQ. As you can see from the map below, there are families living very close to this facility.

No surprise. The BB’s (Burlington Resources) are very pervasive emission sources in Booger County, Tx.
