Panel:
Dr. Robert Howarth of Cornell University will discuss the climate impacts of natural gas energy. Dr. Howarth co-authored the first peer-reviewed study showing that fracked-gas is not a climate panacea.
Dr. Mark Z Jacobson of Stanford University and the Solutions Project. Dr. Jacobson will discuss the options for a fracked-gas free energy future for Denton.
Dr. Anne Epstein board Certified in Internal Medicine and Sleep Medicine will discuss the health consequences of our energy choices. Dr. Epstein co-author the recent peer-reviewed study addressing fracking setbacks and a peer-reviewed study on health risks from oil and gas development.
There will be a public Q&A after the panel presentations.
